Bucks should ban the switch across the defensive 50 altogether, no matter who, it's too costly.
but it is that exact play, daring as it is, that has turned us around from being a boring defensive team who cant kick goals to a team that takes on the game and looks really good. It will lead to mistakes, but i for one want them to continue to take the game on.
Adams does need to reset his expectations by foot. I think he plays like someone with good skills by foot meaning he is setting himself up to fail.
Quick switch across the backline is a very potent weapon for a team.
Should only be selected players who have the license to kick across goal.

People who are sticking up for Adams seem to forget he's vice Captain. We expect alot more from him and so does the football club.

Not next week, he couldn't cost us a bye could he?
I'm meant to go on a fishing charter with Taylor and a few of the boys next weekend as part of a sponser package. Just out on the bay in a reasonable size boat...
I'm having second thoughts as he may turn that over.

Maybe Shazza, Howe and when Reid/Varcoe is back. Adams twice coughed up goals Kicking across the back 50. We gave them cheap goals that ultimately cost us a bigger lead at half time. They were struggling to kick goals and we were giving them an easy out. Sometimes a goal saved is a goal gained.
Just goes to show you how important it is to develop an elite ball using HB.

You're gonna need a bigger boat.

Helps when at GWS when they have so many good outside players

That's a pretty good description of him. Handball should always be his first option.

He always goes for the most difficult low high-speed pass, while over kicking the ball. Not sure he's got the ability to nail this kick consistently. Should be trying to simplify a tad as those kicks are killing us.

this is the issue. The guy chooses options like he is an elite kicker. Once he learns his limitations (or accepts them), he will improve dramatically. It has worked for many limited players over the years,

Yeah, that's what football is pal. Perform well & you get credit. If you don't, you get held accountable. If you continue to make the same errors game after game, your worth and future get questioned. Simples.
Yeah that's fine but some of the posts in this thread are personal and nasty. Nobody criticising Faz this week and he didn't exactly set the world on fire yesterday. Seems that some people never learn.

^ I thought Faz was pretty effective yesterday.
Adams has just about been our most consistent player this season. Tries his guts out when the chips have been down. Kicking has been disappointing. As others have identified, he overkicks the ball when trying to execute difficult opportunities. Plenty to work with.
