Ronaldo is dispossessed and clattered into! We may get to see Rui Costa, yet. Christiano went off briefly but he's back, now. And Griezmann forces a spectacular save, then Poyet's corner leads to a more regulation stop.

Just to report on the things that matter: Pogba needs a new hairdresser and Ronaldo looks to have run out of hair gel. And his left knee continues to trouble him - he's coming out of the game.

What's the fall-back plan, if he can't come back on? The hairdressers are searching feverishly for product on the sidelines.

The stewards and the vet are bringing the screen out. Ronaldo is gone for the match.

So, anyway, Portugal does have a number 9, some guy called Eder - I saw him once a few minutes back. Perhaps Sanches can take over as the playmaker.

So, Portugal take off a player who isn't Ronaldo and replace him with one who isn't Figo. Extra time is looking a reasonable bet, here, despite the occasional French foray.
