That would be taken into account in any regulatory framework, I suspect.

Thereby creating another black market, once the "lo-tar" versions no longer satisfy.

I've smoked it a few times, I enjoy the experience but there was one time I smoked it...
Do you know anything that might have led to this one experience being so different from the others, or do you believe it's really rather random?
my understanding is there are different strains of the drug.

British Columbia Bud' is world famous for potency. I found this out afterwards. That being said, if we legalize marijuana, will it include all strains? i think some of these strains can be quite dangerous.
Sure are!

The two Groups; Sativa & Indica are totally different.....

When browsing Leafly or purchasing cannabis at a shop, you may notice strains are commonly broken up into three distinct groups: indica, sativa, and hybrid. Most consumers have used these three cannabis types as a touchstone for predicting effects:

Indica strains are believed to be physically sedating, perfect for relaxing with a movie or as a nightcap before bed.
Sativas tend to provide more invigorating, uplifting cerebral effects that pair well with physical activity, social gatherings, and creative projects.
Hybrids are thought to fall somewhere in between the indica-sativa spectrum, depending on the traits they inherit from their parent strains.

This belief that indicas, sativas, and hybrids deliver distinct effects is so deeply rooted in mainstream cannabis culture that budtenders typically begin their strain recommendations by asking you which of these three types you prefer.

Well, I have been pleasantly surprised by some good old 'bush bud' (Indica) 8)

Mild on scale of potency, but a nice smoke.

I cant find BC in the top 100..

Skids, have you ever had a bad experience (and if so, what were the circumstances and symptoms)?

No, never K.

I first smoked 35 years ago. The potency back in those days was nowhere near what is available today.
Our crew were all trade apprentices, we used to put in a few bucks each on a Friday night, buy a 'foil', have a smoke and a few drinks at someones house and then surf all weekend. Can remember laughing so much, just having fun with our mates and girlfriends.

I have had periods over the years where I smoked more than I probably should have. These days it's a few times a month. I'll be having a smoke today for sure. Few people coming over to watch the game, have a bbq (it's 30 degrees here today) and a swim.

The issue for me is I eat too much when I'm baked and get a bit lazy (miss a few runs).

I have the best sleep and most vivid dreams when I'm wasted. I love the stuff 8)

I see. It's interesting that it's become more potent. Yes, I was told it makes people hungry.

Recently (some time in the last few years), I had reason to wonder about the effects of passive pot smoking. From memory, I did not find as much information as I would have liked, but it seemed that passive smoking could have a significant effect if it occurred in a rather small enclosed space.

Does anyone have any relevant experiences? Have you passively smoked and felt anything? Would you feel comfortable smoking near, say, children?

I'm surprised smoking in a public space is legal in Vegas. This used to be one of the two things that made pubs very unpleasant. Now that it's illegal, the main unpleasant aspect of pubs is that they are so noisy you have to shout like it's a football match just to be heard by the person sitting beside you.

They smoke ciggys inside the casinos ... now that's gross!

I actually wrote to Hard Rock because that place, as beautiful as it looks, stinks real bad.
The rooms are amazing, yes, there are Non-smoking rooms.
