Checked out Willy this week to check out Nathan Browns progress, very poor performance, I know he has played well the last couple of weeks, but of what I saw yesterday he has a long long way to go, he has a lot of difficulty keeping up with leading players , he also seems to concentrate to much on his player and not enough on the ball. He appears to lack confidence in that he never demands the ball at kick ins or general play. I think if he had of played a well this week he may have been in contention for the Geelong game as he has played well on Hawkins in the past, but not now

Agree with the previous poster's report that the Willi guys had a bad day. Before we go off crucifying individual Collingwood players for not putting in, credit should go to Casey Scorpions who put on a really good show.
Our boys got plenty of the ball. They didn't just do enough with it. We played the most indirect style of football imaginable. We passed backwards, sideways, any one other than the direct towards the goals. We overdid the handball. We didn't even look like scoring a goal after half time. We lacked leadership on the field when Johnson went off with a cheekbone injury. We were basically too young and inexperienced all over the field. If we don't get more experienced players back in the next few weeks, expect more Williamstown losses, but please don't blame it on 18 and 19 yo Collingwood draftees such as Brown, Stanley, Dick and Cook.

The number of injuries the Pies are carrying, not to mention those to Willi listed players, will obviously dilute the playing list available for Willi. I think they have done exceptionally well under the circumstances. Add Clement, Anthony, Rusling, Buckley, Presti, R Shaw, Holland, Dawes, and Egan back into the equation and the Willi team would certainly be strengthened.
