3. Swan - the man's a footballing genius. That sidestep and turn goal in the final quarter had to be seen to be believed. He is certainly the best player in the AFL and the damn umpires better acknowledge that.

2. Maxwell - when the pressure is on true leaders emerge. Maxy is in total control at the moment.

1. Ben Reid - I could have nominated half the side for this, but Ben Reid's marking exhibition tonight was the best I've seen from a Collingwood defender since Billy Picken.

Too many others to name the unlucky ones. Just a great team effort.

I will mention Dawes though. That's his best game in over a month. Got up the ground, took some good marks on the lead (10 marks over all), and don't recall him spilling one. A very good performance.
