Very tough. Plenty of good players:
3. Pendlebury
2. Swan
1. O'Brien
Seems inadequate. Harry deserves more than one for a career best game. Leon deserved votes for tearing a final apart (clearly mentally gone ). Both Pendlebury and Swan could have had 3. Just the sort of thing you want in a final I guess.

Well done boys!

3. Davis
2. Swan (clearly stuffed in the last quarter, couldn't really make his body do what he wanted but he just kept getting up and going again - a herculean effort)
1. Tarrant
Oh - and for the sealing goal, TYRL!
By the way, I see a couple of you have picked Benny Johnson as BOG. He's been one of my favorites for the last 9 years but I thought I saw him play his way to the edge of retirement today. What did you guys like about his game? This, by the way, is just a question, not an attack on your opinions - and I am open to persuasion.

The fact that you didn't have Harry O in your votes is staggering.Pies4shaw wrote:3. Davis

BJ tried to break lines, was a tad slow on occasion, but it was a final, and he wasn't alone (e.g. I have never seen one player - Toovey - have their kicks smothered so many times...he has the J.Cloke wind-up and it's got to stop).

I shall search my soul all week about that. I am suitably chastened.Raw Hammer wrote:The fact that you didn't have Harry O in your votes is staggering.Pies4shaw wrote:3. Davis
