What are our odds?Defender wrote:I put $20 on Ess-Ess-Ess-North at $17, least their good for something.

For the flag this year, oh that's right how silly of me, we didn't even make the finals this year...Defender wrote:Our odds for what? The Boy Who Cried Wolf wrote:What are our odds?Defender wrote:I put $20 on Ess-Ess-Ess-North at $17, least their good for something.

Nope not wrong at all. Until they get the penalty from ASADA, all bets are off!WarrenerraW wrote:Big T wrote:Oh please, they made it and we didn't and they played a cracking final. Just enjoy the game FFS.
I did enjoy the game - It was a cracking final. I also enjoyed and took great satisfaction in seeing them lose. Is that so wrong hehe....
Just to add to that a bit PNC,on Friday night, the "supposed 2nd or 3rd best side in the comp' got done by 4 goals less than we did a week ago, with their BEST side in ,while we played with our reserve side in.If not for the horror run of injuries this year,we would have been in it up to our ears. Make no mistake about that.Piesnchess wrote:Yes, and I tell you what, I had no idea its been a decade since the dons last won a final, I was amazed. and to think, "perceptive fellow" on here whinge and moan about us, how the hell would the drongoes feel if WE had not won one final in ten years. The buggers have been spoilt, that's for sure.sixpoints wrote:I enjoyed it.Big T wrote:Oh please, they made it and we didn't and they played a cracking final. Just enjoy the game FFS.
33 points up well into the third quarter and they lose!
For all our troubles, Essenscum last just one week more and look like spuds as they surrender. Now it's 11 years since they've won a final & Ryder looks like he's walking.
Yes, I enjoyed it alright!
Are they not excluded from the draft again this year? Me thinks that's the last final they'll play for a loooong time. Hard enough to pick the best available talent to improve your club when allowed to, it's damn right impossible with your hands tied for 2 years. Long may their unenviable record of not winning a final this century continueJohn Wren wrote:the only consolation i got from their loss is they'll have a worse draft pick than us and now they join 10 other clubs on the sidelines. they should have won by plenty.Big T wrote:Oh please, they made it and we didn't and they played a cracking final. as for the rancid mob that beat them ...

DOES anyone around here feel a tad sorry for the Tigers, and would not mind em beating Port ? Me, well, take it or leave em, but I would like to see the look on Mick Molloys face as his tiges go down, down, down.ANNODAM wrote:Johnno75 wrote:Now let's hope the tigers get thumped tomorrow to top it all off.
Yes please!
I'll NEVER forget Bartlett running around after he kicked that goal - I hope they get absolutely SMASHED!!!ANNODAM wrote:^ Have you forgotten 1980 PnC????
Never forgive & never forget!
Yes but for how long lololololol!!!swoop42 wrote:They get a pick at the end of the first round this season.
They had some later round picks last year.
Essendon have a pretty well balanced list IMO.
