Congrats to Witter. He's been a massive win for Gold Coast since being trade. He had a huge year last year, and has had a good year this year.

We were never going to be able to play Grundy, Cox and Witts in the same 22. Witts is too good a player to spend his career in the seconds and Gold Coast are unlikely to play finals for the balance of Witts' career. So good luck to the bloke and I hope he leads the Suns to a memorable victory over the Demons this weekend.

The problem with that is that Cox is as good a ruckman as Witts, a better mark and a better forward.
Unless we were going to play Witts in his best position as first ruck and play Grundy forward, it was never going to work

I never saw him as leadership material, but maybe his development has grown significantly at the Suns.
