The whole handball controversy reignites, after a game-changing penalty. It's funny a rule as fundamental as this is causing so many problems.

You can't exactly expect defenders to have their arms tied behind their backs.

Seems that way. They lost 9 matches last season, after having only lost 12 in their first three seasons under Pep (2016/2017, 2017/2018 and 2018/2019).

Defensive frailties are a recurring theme for Pep. He's spent a fortune on defenders, but hasn't solved the problem.

Maybe it's worth seeing how many goals they are conceding in their losses. Vardy torched them in this game.

Meanwhile, Klopp was offended that Liverpool's defence was called "sloppy". They seem to be conceding a few goals too, but they are still winning.

Thanks for that list.

And now Man. City have been held to a 1-1 draw by Leeds.

Leeds are already shaping as an interesting side to watch this season. Liverpool are now favourites for the title. Will Man. City's odds blow out more? There's still a huge gap in the odds to the rest of the field, though. I'm not sure if it's yet time to back Liverpool.

^ No worries.

Leeds have had a bright start. They also nearly got a result from their opening day match against Liverpool.
