Today was a big opportunity with the game moved back to Vic. I had no idea it'd been moved until I saw Whitten Oval on TV... I thought WTF...
I wonder if anyone rocked up to the venue in Qld?
We were 2 players down, which may have levelled out the fairness of the match being moved. We looked almost gone there for a minute... but we fought back and almost stole it.
Chole took a great mark for AFLW and thumped it forward. Had someone been home it was a certain goal.
Then we had open players that couldn't pick the ball up and we went off the ground for a miss from the top of the goal square...
Oh well, not to be.
We cannot drop next weeks game against the Saints if we're to finish top 2.

We were out toughed in the first half, reminiscent of the first half of the 2003 GF, a great effort to fight back in difficult conditions...gotta give it to the Lions though.
Some very poor umpiring today, not really sure what holding the ball is anymore, seems to change from contest to contest

"You hate a mean man, a grasping man, a man who wants everything and gives nothing. That’s Collingwood. They are a law unto themselves"

Saw it coming folks no real concern it was tight and tough game which is good I feel Brisbane had a good run with the umpires all day pity we could not dribble through that kick as a goal 10 seconds left. Not a bad lose look it was only 4 points so no damage to percentage. Marking power up forward cost us no one can take a grab in the pack it seams we need height in the area hey ring a bell. I do think Collingwood will smash stkilda and make top 2 and even a home gf. Don’t panic people. Bit of a nothing to see here game today. I felt Collingwood player the better footy any way today. Brisbane are over rated too.
Worst performance we’ve put on all year. Fumbling and bumbling. Credit to Lions who took it to us and we didn’t respond. Could be a “good” loss with complacency given the heave ho.
Injuries to Butler and Allen a worry.
