Defo. We were singing 'Antonio, Antonio' yesterday! The bloke ran almost as far as the players inside his coaching area :D

I was a Man United fan when when younger because a mate brought me back a United shirt from Hong Kong with no. 7 on the back when King Cantona was wearing it. At uni I had Daicos and Cantona posters up - the Marvel and The King :D

But I and stopped watching through the 00s, except perhaps to watch Timmy Cahill's highlights and the Aussies (been to two World Cups - Korea/Japan and Germany).

When we moved here I started watching Premier League again (when in Rome...), but didn't really feel the love for anyone (my local team is Reading, but the chances of them playing in the Premier League are too slim). I also thought it was too easy to choose a top 4 team, plus Manchester and Liverpool are nowhere near here. Supporting them here is very different to supporting them from Oz, because here they're in rival counties/cities, so it doesn't feel right.

Sonny naturally caught our eye being Korean, so before we knew it we were loosely and then intently following them. So Spurs it is.

My first game was also Spurs versus Southampton down in Southampton because it's not that far and easier to get tickets. Yesterday was our first trip to the new Spurs stadium.

I guess I also felt there was some similarity with the Pies ('Spursiness' reminds me a lot of the Colliwobbles, though no grand finals of course). We actually drove down White Hart Lane yesterday, which was about as dodgy as pre-gentrified Collingwood!

At the moment we're juggling the Maggies, Spurs and LG Twins (Korean baseball), so this is defo the best time of year for sport!
Fantastic :)

I've been a Chelsea fan since the days of Ken Bates' ownership (pre-dates Abramovich's takeover in 2003), but it runs through older family members who grew up loving the likes of Peter Osgood, Ron 'Chopper' Harris and Terry Venables.

Conte is a fantastic coach. Did a brilliant job at Juventus, Chelsea and Inter Milan winning top flight titles with all of them. His enthusiasm is infectious which I fondly remember when he was coaching Chelsea. He'll take Spurs far if he's given proper backing and support from Levy.

Son and Kane are a deadly partnership. The fact that they didn't score on the weekend despite Spurs' dominance over Southampton is a good sign.
Have you had a chance to watch the Chelsea/Tottenham game? It was epic. Chelsea dominated but it ended in a draw through a Harry Kane header in the 96th minute. Both coaches got red cards! Hilarious.

Chelsea were a missed hair pull away from winning (look up Romero/Cucarella hair pull). If the ref saw it Chelsea would've got the free and the corner from which Tottenham scored wouldn't have happened. But VAR couldn't overrule because they can only call red cards, and must've adjudged it not quite a red (though I'm guessing after this it will be).

Chelsea are to Tottenham like Hawthorn are to Collingwood, having the wood over them forever, so it was actually a good draw from Tottenham's POV even though people bagged Tottenham for celebrating like it was a win.

From Chelsea's POV, Reece James is a gun. He pantsed Son, although he was all over him like an octopus. But they're letting the game go rather than giving soft or technical free kicks, which I prefer. I was also happy to see Loftus-Cheek play well as he's talented but never had a good run at it. Kante also rolled back the years, but did a hammy late.

You're right, Conte makes a massive difference. There is no way in hell they draw that game pre-Conte (I think Tottenham had lost at Stamford Bridge 29/30 years or something ridiculous).
In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

^ Yep, I watched it live via my Optus subscription in the early hours of Monday morning.

It was a cracking match, but was disappointed we didn't get all 3 points in the end. Thought we were better than Spurs on the day. I'm pretty happy with how we're progressing under Tuchel. All our new signings (Sterling, Koulibaly, Cucurella) look good so far.

Saw the Romero/Cucurella hair pull. A lot of Chelsea fans are upset with referee, Anthony Taylor who's had a history of bad decisions against us in the past. Tuchel was fuming in the post match presser.

Tuchel and Conte's clash was intense. I could never imagine that happening in the AFL

Spurs have won once at Stamford Bridge since 1990. That was in the 2017/18 season when ironically Conte was coaching Chelsea.

Did you catch the Champions League draw? Tottenham won't be complaining. Chelsea's group is slightly tougher, but they can beat AC Milan. Everyone's no doubt happy to have avoided Group C:

Group A: Ajax, Liverpool, Napoli, Rangers.

Group B: Porto, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Club Brugge.

Group C: Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Inter Milan, V Plzen.

Group D: Frankfurt, Tottenham, Sporting, Marseille.

Group E: AC Milan, Chelsea, Salzburg, Dinamo Zagreb.

Group F: Real Madrid, Leipzig, Shakhtar Donetsk, Celtic.

Group G: Man City, Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund, Copenhagen.

Group H: PSG, Juventus, Benfica, Maccabi Haifa.
In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

^ Happy with our draw. AC Milan our hardest opponent, but they're not the force they were from the late 80s/early 90s or when Ancelotti coached them in the 2000s.

Spurs will be very happy with their group.

Spare a thought for Viktoria Plzen. Copped Bayern, Barca and Inter in the one group

In light of the Queen's passing, it's likely football will be postponed this week.
