Plays like … Reef McInnes.
Hopefully ( at least ) one will make it as a big bodied mid in the AFL.

Ben Allan’s son so hopefully the pedigree is there.

The ONE player on the edge of our selection I thought would be gone 99.99%.

This kid has more upside in his little finger than all our other hopefuls put together.

You never know... but he has a Dermy frame to build upon.

I'm excited at the prospect.

Back in '94 I met his old man at Waverley. He was one of about 4 players that stopped to say hi to us and sign a footy card we had. Still got it too, although it's faded a bit now.

I'm wrapped to have Ed come to the club. He comes from a good family and a good footy family. His move to Victoria will be supported.

Was his father an assistant coach at Collingwood?

Allan Edwards played for us in the 70s, so the nickname for Ed could be Butch.

Maybe Ive been a Collingwood supporter too long and am naturally pressimistic but I thought it was interesting that every other player did an interview with fox footy either at the venue or via zoom except Ed. Was he that pissed off about WC or the Hawks not selecting him or am I reading too much into it. I hope its the latter.
Painful frustrating disappointing exhilarating and unbelievably awesome. - That's a Collingwood life through and through

I always grimace when the Pies get a 'steal' that is overcoming major injury as a junior.
Get back on top.
