Please elaborate.

Explain how they can with salary caps and having to play other players in the near future.
If they can't afford to pay their most important player the highest salary because they have too many midfielders on large pay packet then thats their fault

But their is about 1.6 million spare in 2 years when Didak, Jolly and Swan retire, plus they can add another 100,000 those years as he will be a veteran himself, they can get it done but they just want to be tough and drag it out

For all we know, Cloke might be 'done' in 3 years... ala Johnothan Brown.

I perfectly understand why Cloke wants a big 5 year deal, if he is done by then, he will get another two years worth of big money.

I'm sorry, but I disagree with paying Cloke 5 years at 900k. Disagree with it at 750k.

3 years at 750, maybe 4, in my opinion is all he's worth.

As the poster above me pointed out, we are going to have the likes of Beams, Reid, Sidey and others who we need to pay in a few years and we will need to keep Witts away from the possibility of 'going home' if GWS and Sydney want him.

Clokes management are playing it very smartly, I'll hand them that, except Collingwood are smarter.

Then The Lad saw Travis in Telstra shop adjacent.

The way that Cloke looked at the jam donuts in Donut King leads The Lad to believe that Cloke will soon sign with Collingwood.
Who's "the lad", why, oh why do you persist with the pathetic way of talking about oneself as if you are someone else, is it some kind of handicap that lets you park closer to the shop door?

So does me.

Am I doing it right?

Anyways back on topic - I love that the boys have been having a bit of a laugh about it in the media as of late.

On the latest B&W Show hosted by Shae Mac; Travis Cloke said that he would be the best Queen of Australia (lets not even go there, lol)... and Shae responded "yeh for a 5 year contract you would"

LOL

Good morning Mr Skids. Because my true name (Maanus) is almost unpronouncable, I have always been referred to since I came to this beautiful country as 'The Lad'.

As I have caused you offence, I apologise unreservedly to you and will impose a one-week ban on myself from 'Nicks' board.

I hope our team wins today and I still hope Travis Cloke will sign on.

I commend the Lads contribution to the board and vote Skids be banned for a week for bringing the board into disrepute.

nonononononononono!

i dont think so!

i confess at first i found it strange, but hey, who has not offended annoyed pissed off etc etc etc

noone tells you how to post, (unless you are using vile name calling etc, and "the Lad" never has) or what to call yourself.

as for your name, Maanus, i remember doing indonesion studies in high school, the only thing i rmember was my teachers name, Mrs Musialcovich, the spelling is wrong, but thats how it was pronounced.

the reason i remember it is because the first day of the term, she told us her name and said " yes its a hard name to remember, but i had to learn it, and no you cannot call me by my first name instead!" she was a total stunner, and she said it with such class, that to this day, i cannot remember a single thing about indonesia, (except my award winning model of some island!!) but i still remember her name!!

so just in case you really are going to stay away from Nicks because of someones sooky post about something so insignicant, ill PM this to you too!

Im sorry Skids, actually im not, but i feel the need to tell you, you are out of line.
