Bux said Adams had carried the groin/adductor issue for two weeks. Poor selection really if that is the case. Also poor for Adams for putting his had up to play. Anzac day does strange things to players.

any updates will be a bonus if he only misses 1 match im hoping he doesn't miss any matches but it is an injury more like 2-3 weeks I feel bummer hes having a great season too

I said two seasons ago that Callum Brown would take Adams' position in the team. This is his opportunity to have a go at it - and prove me completely wrong.

It was initially thought the 25-year-old would be out for a fortnight but scans have since revealed tendon damage in his groin.

"It's probably worse than we first thought," Adams told Fox Sports. "We first thought it was muscle. It's not muscle, it's tendon so that's obviously not a great sign. I imagine I'll miss at least a couple of weeks and probably pushing closer to four or so."
