I'm still loving the specky that Maynard took in the second - one of the commentators mentioned AA - I didn't think he could get that high

Our midgets have all been passed by Caleb Daniel, who is the template for his size, with his reading of the drop of the ball, and clean pinpoint disposal.masoncox wrote:I have a thing against midgets in my footy team.piedys wrote:Big T wrote:Massive changes needed. The only good one is the one running around in the reserves!

I missed the game last night but judging from the comments here - I'm glad I did. Sounds like the same players making the same mistakes, playing a predictive brand of football enforced by a coach who is delusional and hasn't cottoned on to the fact that it doesn't work, and lacks a plan B! Too much hot potato handball to blokes under immense pressure resulting in a pressured kick and eventually, a turnover! Bombing long to blokes out of position or better still, the opposition! You can't keep blaming injuries. We have enough skilled and experienced players in the team to get the job done yet we seem to find new ways of f***ing it up. Sydney will most likely thrash us and the crows would be odds on to notch up their first win against us.
I missed hthe game too, but i only needed to see the scoreline , stat's and comments to guess what happened. I was tempted to watch the replay. Then again it won't be anything that has not already happened this year.WarrenerraW wrote:I missed the game last night but judging from the comments here - I'm glad I did. The cupboard is bare, but surely we shouldn't be surprised that a cheaps as chip ruckman and ex-vfl backman didn't do better?Sicks Bux wrote:What changes to personnel would you suggest? What'sinaname wrote:If this was Adams' audition for future captaincy, then he's shat the bed.
Stevo is scared or playing scared.
Mihocek and Cameron as the two KP forwards - 6 marks between them and 1 goal. That's embarrassing.
We overrate our players ability to plan to a plan, and think it overcomes competency deficiencies. Need a skillful key forward desperately, but Cox must do at a pinch

That was just weird...were we badly outnumbered up forward? Didn't look like it. Certainly not Daics natural instinct to not take the game on, so you wonder whether the game plan is stifling them a bitBig T wrote:I couldn't believe Daicos near half time running into the forward line, open forward line, stopped, waited, handballed backwards to a player under pressure, turnover. Indicative of the state of this team.

Swanettes are no great shakes, the saints tore them to shreds, and the crows are a total joke. But, we need to select a decent and balanced team, we lost that game at the selection table, dropping Roghie and Shazza, and picking an iriishman for the game, and Magden whom i dont rate at all. If we can pick a decent side this week, maybe bring Langdon back in, at long last, if he match fit, and a few other changes, like drop thomas, pick a far better team, find some determination and have a red hot go, for once, as we did against the Cats, we need to really redeem ourselves now.

That mark alone, beats the infamous Jezza GF mark of the 1970GF, the "jesaulenko u beauty" that is legend, but honestly this one beats it, as does most of Howes. Most big marks now beat that old one, i dont often agree with Kane Cornes, but he was rght bout that mark, it has been beaten many times since, and Maynards is a cracker, one shining light in a very dull day.
