I can understand Ollie not signing on. He must be thinking where his spot in the 22 is and when.
Consider that if Kreuger is the new big forward we need we will also have Mihocek, elliot and Ginnivan in the forward line. Maybe a resting ruckman as well. He doesn't have a spot now and it may not be any better next year.
Maybe the club is not sure either and is not offering much as a result.

1. If its about money - Trade him. We have a lot of talent coming through and we will need to balance payments the same way the Cats manage to do. A player wanting more before hes done anything really is only going to get worse.
2. If its about his place in the senior team - Trade him. If hes not prepared to back himself in and have the confidence to earn a spot then why should have confidence in him?
If we trade him, then Id want a late first or early second this year - or next. Next years draft is deep and quality.

Everyone is touring Arden St.
North were contacting agents & players before they signed Clarkson on the premise that he would be their next coach.
If Henry wishes to go, let him if an appropriate deal can be made.

just think of Prestigiacomo, in tears when he selflessly ruled himself out in 2010.

I love the Pies, hate Carlscum
We’ve got pages and pages of posts condemning the club for the fiasco they found themselves in with the salary cap but now we have the “ re sign Henry at all costs “ advocates questioning the club for not entertaining his lofty demands. If you’re going to into bat for a players significant pay rise, then at least make sure they’re a top ten talent on your list.
I keep hearing how he could be anything but didn’t we all say that about Stephenson after his first year. If Henry isn’t invested in the club, then let him go, take the draft pick and re invest in someone who is committed to the club.
For all his strengths, he’s got some decent limitations also. He may improve, he may not but what makes anyone think we won’t go through this again with his third contract. Happy for him to stay but he stays on Collingwoods terms, not his.

Nothing to do with his talent, every thing to do with behaviour off field and at the club. same reason hes not still with us.

Ollie Henry is a special talent and I hope he signs on soon. In a couple of years, we could be without Checkers and/or WHE, so a player as special as Henry would most certainly get a spot in our senior team. However, if he is impatient for senior games now, and/or his manager reckons he's worth more money than we are offering, then I'll be sad to see him go, but will be confident our club negotiates a decent deal for his release.
