Mild hey fever indeed. I hope he’s right but sounds like a good line to deflect attention.90 nice wrote:McStay said Moore and Kruger just had a mild hay fever and was best if they went home.
He says both are going to take it easy today and both will attend training tomorrow morning.
Nether have covid and was just a hay fever runny nose that kind of thing.

Maybe, but I am also thinking that we might pull a surprise and make someone else the sub, and select Macrae within the 22. I am not sure who will be the sub. I am wondering if we might rest Elliott and make him the sub, or even more likely perhaps, Markov as sub. Not because I want to omit Markov, but because it will be part of a strategy.David wrote:Sounds like Macrae isn’t playing VFL today, so I guess he’s the sub.
I think we will try to hit them hard in the midfield.

Some think its going to be the warmest day since the 1990 Grand final for a collingwood essendon match.
Good to get the win today at VP in the vfl.
Who thinks we kind of play similar brand type of footy like that of the Brisbane lions circa 2001-2003.
I do.
And guess what we have Fly who played in all of those premierships too.
Some say we are same style and brand of footy like the lions of 2001-2003.
We will win anzac day.
Keep the pressure up and the rewards and opportunity will come.

Each of Macrae, Ruscoe and Will Kelly missing from the VFL today, presumably held over til Tuesday. Krueger picked in the media today. No word on the others yet.
Carmichael had a good game today including 3 goals and a great snack from the Daicos pocket. McInnes and Murley both kicked late goals in the come from behind win at Vic Park. Ed Allan some good moves again.

Ed Allen kicked our last goal of the year at the 58minute mark of the last quarter

Increasingly confident about this one.
I think Kreuger will cause havoc up forward- not in the sense of kicking goals, but bringing the ball to ground where Ginnivan, Hill, Elliott and McCreery can go to work.
Frampton must be very aggressive at the man in ruck contests and work very hard defensively when Phillips and Draper roll forward; would be nice if Jordy could give a masterclass in the guts. I am expecting Crisp will return to his B&F form on Tuesday- his gut-running is critical in the big games.
Go Pies.

Firm in the belief that number 17 flag is only months away...
As in pre match venues before the match where do you go.
Also where abouts in the MCG is your favourite areas to watch the footy.
Mines behind the goals at the city end under neath the rafters ground deck and up at the standing room area.
If we are well and truly winning the match easy ill float down the other end to see the opposition supporters and their reactions of us winning or about to win.
other then that i like top deck on the mcc members stand side like 4th level.
Yep i agree WL Kruger to do the same job as mcstay and have some presence in the forward line.
Attendance 98k

I suppose it's possible it could be tomorrow evening. Not sure what the standard approach is for end of round Tuesday/Wednesday games, but during COVID I think it was usually night before, right?

Yeah, looks like it will be tomorrow evening.
I just rewatched Fly's presser, and he said something about a decision being made in the next 24 hours. I couldn't exactly make out what the question was, but seems now to confirm that teams won't be released tonight.
