You don't see any tension between him having "$3 Billion net worth" and not paying tax along the way to get there. That's quite surprising, really. You live in a place outside logic, space and time, I fear.Wokko wrote:Lost his way to $3 Billion net worth and the Presidency of the United States, yeah what a loser. He's also living rent free inside your head.

He paid taxes when he had to and didn't when he made losses. Losses can be used to offset profits. He paid $38 Million in tax in 2005.Pies4shaw wrote:You don't see any tension between him having "$3 Billion net worth" and not paying tax along the way to get there. That's quite surprising, really. Funny how he's criticized for doing what he, and every other tax payer is legally allowed to do.... minimize their tax.
Who on here, hasn't fudged a tax return slightly?
Money makes money....
HPPL (Gina) purchased Atlas Iron in November last year for a smidge under $300 million.... it came with a $500 million 'tax credit' as well as a mine producing 7 million tonnes/year of low grade ore and 10's of 1000's square kilometers of Atlas's tennements. The ore was selling for $US 31/tonne ($US1/tonne profit) then.... now it's over $US90.
That $500 million tax credit will be very handy for HPPL this year.

I read that too. Someone needs to tell Kim Jong Un that Darth Vader is a fictional character, not an aspirational model.

Trump is now being refereed to as "Mr Tariff". When you watch one media source as your information you have an issue. He's starting to turn on everyone and soon many will start biting back. There is more than one Mexico if you ask FOX.
