Always fancied a blow out tonight. Just goes to show you how close we are after the QF

I reckon it was the scare the Cats needed after a couple of lazy H&A games.

Now they have switched back on and will cruise to their 10th flag.

Let's not get carried away.

Lions were lucky to get this far. This is easy kill for Geelong.

They'll have a much harder time of it against us or Sydney.

This game reminds me of 2020 - we defeated WCE, then we choked against Geelong in the PF. Copy of this now for Brisbane.
We know how that finished though.
Geelong smashed in the GF, at the Gabba ironically, given the game tonight.
Perfect scenario:
Brisbane choke against Geelong in the PF.
We defeat the Swans.
Then smash the geriatrics in the GF.
I like it.

Brisbane now would like to resign, as in chess.
Only concerned now about incurring injuries before the holidays.
Pathetic performance from Brisbane in every respect: coaching, effort, pressure...
Fox commentators attributing this victory to Geelong's superiority to the rest of the competition
They suffer from amnesia
They forgot that only 1 week ago, we lost to them by 5 points, but played well enough to win.
This game proves nothing, except that Geelong is in the same position as in 2020.

Geelong 113-46.

Still 14 minutes for the Lions to endure.

Week off last week. Training run tonight.

With the pressure kings of either Collingwood or Sydney to come this mightn't be as good a tune up as they believe right now.

I like this Rhys Mathieson dude, 12 goals down and still finds time to dump Dangerfield to the turf after he gets rid of the ball…..no respect whatsoever.

Man, if we can’t get over SYD tomorrow night, I hope the Swans smash these pricks!

And if we do, I cannot handle another GF loss, I am scared & scarred - both physically & mentally!

Agree Swoop.
Just watched our first quarter against Geelong.
So brilliant.
Brisbane did not at any stage play at a level comparable to ours.
We are at the same level as Geelong and Swans.
Tonight was at training run for Fat Cats, no doubt.
But it is the easy slide into the GF which does not steel you for the next level of intensity.
winner of Pies vs Swans tomorrow wins the GF.
God to my rescue (though i don't believe in Him) I hope it is us.

Agreed MTTM we've proven we're at the same level as Geelong.

Still crazy to me how the ducks capitulated last week. Surely they would have stood up to Geelong way better than what we saw last night.

Would love to see us rattle those cats in the big one
