Go Ciiiiiteeeh.
Been an armchair supporter of MC since I lived with two brothers originally form Manchester - in my the first share house (8 people) with nearly as many bedrooms in Melville Road West Brunswick in the late 70's.
How I love a club that's from the people, for the people & buy the people

About time someone else mentioned the Heysel incident, a shocking incident which Liverpool doesn't want to acknowledge. It's all well and good to come out up in arms about Hillsborough and rightly so but also acknowledge that you're responsible for the Heysel disaster which killed 39 Juventus fans in 1985.London Dave wrote:I'll believe that when they have a ceremony for the Heysel incident, which they wont, as they prefer to be the victims.Dave The Man wrote:The Big Ceramony for the Hillbrough Incident took it out of them MentallyLondon Dave wrote: Liverpool had a good run, and crumbled when the heat was on.

Derby County blow it in the Playoff Final at Wembley. They dominate the game, but in the last minute QPR have their only shot on target for the game and they score.
QPR 1- Derby 0.
That finalized the promotion spots to the EPL. Up goes Leicester, Burnley & QPR to replace the relegated Norwich, Fulham & Cardiff.

The terrible state of Scottish football.
Rangers relegated 3 divisions due to bankruptcy (they've since won 2 of them, so surely have only one more year in the doldrums to go).
Hearts docked 15 points for bankruptcy and as a result relegated.
Hibs collapse in the last 6 weeks of the league & sink into a relegation playoff with part timers Hamilton. Hibs lose on penalties and they too go down.
So three of the biggest SPL clubs are out. The SPL is barely surviving as it is, so to lose 3 of it's biggest markets is devastating.
Attendances, TV revenue & sponsorship which is already perilous will dive.
Poor Scotland, it used to be such a great league.
To think Celtic were once Champions of Europe and Aberdeen beat Real Madrid in a UEFA Cup Final & Rangers made the semis of the Europa League only 6 years ago......
It's now a sideshow.
