This could get ugly if not handled properly.
These are the dark years, we got to enjoy the salary cap cheating that destroyed the Blues for 2 decades, the supplements saga that ruined Essendon

Now it's our turn, salary dumps, board spills and a long rebuild while we watch Carlton and Essendon rise

Collingwood’s entire board faces obliteration after papers were served on the club to force a spill of all seven director positions.

About 12,000 Magpies members will now be given the chance to decide who leads the club in a full-blown board election - eight months after Eddie McGuire’s shock resignation.

Former Collingwood solicitor Francis Galbally served a spill petition on the club on Thursday afternoon, describing the state of the club’s governance as a “corporate catastrophe”.

Galbally personally presented the papers at the club’s Holden Centre headquarters.

Same. Acts like he’s Collingwood royalty.

Is Galbally in bed with the petition crew?

Galbally is acting for them after Turtle walked away.

Honestly I think the board needs an enema, but I'm also happy with their recent actions and appointments. I hope we get an amicable outcome with at least some of the existing board staying if for no other reason than continuance of intellectual property.

Licca and Holgate should be right, hopefully Murphy and Sizer stay too. The Bulldogs biatch has gone already and Wilson can piss off too.

^^^ Seriously mystified by the number of supporters willing to cut their noses of to spite their faces in relation to O'Donnell. We're a club that has been seriously tested through injury, both the sheer quantum and the level of recidivism over something like a decade, and when we finally get someone onto the board who brings a sports science expertise with her people can't get past an old photo of her wearing a Doggies jumper. Very sad.

And that's without even considering her current role within Government and what an asset that could be to the board, or what role she might play in the establishment of the sports science facility at the Holden Centre.
