Who else wanted to be prez?

"Paul Licuria and Jodie Sizer will remain on the board, while current directors Peter Murphy and Christine Holgate as well as Jeff Browne, Barry Carp and Renee Roberts will stand for election at the AGM."

If anyone else wants to put themselves for election they can.

I am happy with the directors listed. This is a good outcome. I need to move on.

Browne is the only candidate for the board who has declared they will nominate to be president if elected to the board.

Yes. Yes. Let the spotlight now fall on Hawthorn.

I'd prefer to keep Murphy and Holgate, can Browne and his 2 just replace the Bulldogs biatch, Wilson and Korda?

I want transparency, democracy, and member involvement. I fear it’s going to be more of the same last 20 years.

Fair point. However I prefer to see how they perform and base my opinion on facts before consigning them to the same basket. If we see transparency, democracy and member involvement, your fear may have been unnecessary.

Coz the last 20 was just so bad.
How Sizer stays on is disgraceful, what were comments again re: Browne being President? Something about entitlement & so on. But yet she stays.
Absolute disgrace. Can’t even stand up for what she believes.
Why would supporters want someone like that on the board?

My gut feel as well. Browne et al will all be appointed unopposed. Democracy, transparency, and member involvement in action.

So no election then?

That’s no different than what happened during Eddies presidency and what many people where getting upset about. Now everyone is happy to sit back and accept the same again.
