Just keeps getting better... at times he looks like he has been a backman for us for years, thats how much he has grown.

Those field kicks... I am in awe.

What a player we have on our hands and he is still a way off reaching his full potential

Watch him poll well in the Brownlow because it was form like this in the second half of last year in the VFL that was his making

Danny Frawley said yesterday "that guy is a born backman".
They why did he start in the Forward Line then?

Defense has been the making of him. His marking and kicking is sensational. I love the way he's bulked up this year too.

Mate, he is no where near his full potential. What we're seeing is the bottom of the curve. This kid is a gun, always has been. it seems like he's been on the list forever but he's only 21 years old. His best will be from 25-28 once his body really matures and he has the experience to use it.

Enjoy watching the ride because this kid is going to be truly special.

i reckon all the knockers who have pinged him on this chat forum should suck it up and admit they were wrong. The kid's a ripper, I've always thought so myself and defended him at all times. Knew he'd click at some stage and start producing the goods. Go Chop.

He has been sensational. His kicking is a joy to watch. Very accurate and his marking is very one grab, which is fantastic for a defender.

Been nominated for the rising star. Expect him to have a chance of winning it, but unfortunately, the rising star seems to go to the best midfielder.

Fantastic to see another 'write-off' making his own name. Reid, Toovey, L. Brown, Swan (if we go back a few years)... if we win the flag this year, the medal presentation is going to be very satisfying indeed.

There are many players who could contend to be MIP this season and Chopper is surely one of them, then you have Moneybags, Daisy, Dawsey and so on...

Hasn't anywhere near reached his potential yet. The way he out bustled Kosi from behind and out marked him was very impressive. His confidence is growing each week and he seems to feel at home in the senior team now.
Not sure how he will fare against a fast hard leading forward yet. Time will tell.

Really glad he's coming good, when you consider he is the draft pick we got for Tarrant (+"Steak Knives" all-australian Medhurst of course). He's a top 10 draft pick (as is Nathan Brown), so it's good that he's showing something.
