worst performance of maxy's career & harry wasnt much better
maxy didnt play well, but our back 6 were under siege, no midfeild pressure at all, any defense wouldve struggled today under those conditions IMO.

Today on 773 3 LO, the ex-filth Captain Mark McClure gave all the votes to Melbourne players. Now that's fair enough "IF" He really thunked they were the best players but 1/2 way through the 3rd Quarter He said, and I quote "I hope Collingwood lose"!
The ABC IS a non-partisan organization and if some-one cannot put aside their past playing history they have NO-right to be calling games, let alone handing out votes!
When advised that He would make some (some?) Collingwood fans angry (seeing as We won) He replied "I don't care"!

I suggest that if you don't care about half the people that are paying your salary then you should do something that You do care about!

Maxwell is the most overrated player in this clubs history, he was shit house today and for 3 quarters of last week. He had a standout year last season playing the Jason cloke loose hb role, already seeing players make him more accountable and he struggles 1v1 also turns it over when under pressure.

Anyone who has him in the bests today is either related or blinded by the lil c next to his name.

3. Pendles
2. Beams
1. Reid

* Reid was our best defender spoilt well didn't turn the ball over and the only time he was beaten was when Maxwell cut him off and Maxwell missed the spoil.

A few players deserve an honourable mention: Beams, Sidebottom, Daisy, and some things Harry O did.

But no votes from me today. Stuff 'em.

Can we give negative votes?

3. Thomas (ran his arse off & was our most consistent 4 qtr performer)

2. Beams (some quality touches & made a real statement that he wants to play next week)

1. Reid (kept his man quiet & was composed in posession of the ball)
