Well, some good news filtering down from the Gabba. Good news for the Bushies (and Redbacks), that is. Lol. The Bulls were dismissed for 129 with Tait (3/19), Harrity (3/37) and Rofe (3/38) ripping in. Carseldine (41), Love (34) and Dale (26) were the only batsmen to get starts.

The Bulls really hit back hard, today, showing just why they are the Champions.

First up they took 4 wickets for 1 run and other than a fighting 56 n.o. from Deitz, ran through the rest to dismiss the Redbacks for 208. Dawes took 7/67!

At stumps, the Bulls had got themselves into a healthy position, being 3/211 with Perrin undefeated on 104. Law made a quick 72. They have a lead of 132.

The game is still there for the Redbacks to win but they need to come out fighting in the morning, just like the Bulls did!

A quite remarkable innings from Greg Blewett was not enough to save the Redbacks.

He scored 135 out of 200 as the Bulls cruised to an outright win by 208 runs. Blewy hit 19 fours and 3 sixes and the next highest score was 13 by Higgins.

Michael Kasprowicz took 5/44. Joe Dawes took 10 wickets for the match and Wade Seccombe held 8 catches.

NSW made 370 and WA, with a great partnership from Shaun Marsh and Mike Hussey of 194, are chasing well and had reached 3/273 at stumps.

Marsh, son of former Aussie Test and One-dayers opener, Geoff, is on 114 n.o. and Hussey is also not out, on 90.

Earlier, Doug Bollinger got the Blues off to a great start by removing both openers, Langer and Rogers, to have WA in trouble at 2/17 before Marsh and Murray Goodwin (41)steadied.
