4 goals from turnovers makes it hard to win.
Good pressure and effort but a few simple errors proving costly.
Go Pies!!!

Sadly we've lost the ability to transition the ball from the backline to score. That was our secret sauce in the last two years. We are too static and have no big targets up forward to aim for anyway. This will take all of Fly's guile to win this one. A win tonight and it will be all about coaching. We don't have the cattle as Mick used to say.

Moore should not be allowed to kick out ever again.
He coughs up a goal a week by his poor kick outs

Is there a chance in 2024 that we won’t kick long to a fwd pack where the opposition has congestion and numbers?
What is the benefit of this continual forward entry. No skill. No imagination. No endeavour. All of the players are doing. The only thing different last week and this week is we’re seemingly kindling the ball lower. It makes no difference.

We’re not bringing the ball to ground in a dangerous position because the defence is flooded and our fwds are then under siege.

Can someone please explain this tactic because I don’t get it?

Carlton will gradually increase their lead the way this is going. They are dominating in the middle and we can’t stop their big forwards. Frampton has really dropped off after a good start to the year.

Cameron’s having a dirty night. JDG a huge loss, should be obvious to the naysayers now why he’s so important. Schultz not awake to a switch on the wing, Carlton scored a goal. But it’s only two goals and it’s far from over.

Either we've changed our successful game plan from last year or the players aren't listening to the coach. Perhaps he's too friendly with them. But if we keep doing this the score line at the end will be ugly.

Come on boys link together.

The crowd has been turned down on the coverage. Means the commentators are more prominent. The horror!!

I never thought I'd miss Commetti and McAvaney so much. But I do.

Getting smashed in defensive marking contests. Can’t get a body on any of them and allowing easy entries without any pressure on the ball carrier. I don’t think this is our quarter either. Trying hard but everything is off. The when we get the ball on the wing or mid we kick to a contest.

What is the instruction on decision making when going forward?
