Watched part of the crummy footy show tonight, and jeez it gives me the shits how they are just so carlton centric, and how they assume so arrogantly that they can just march in to our club, and grab just about any body they like on their foul shopping list. They assume the cloke deal is done, and MM demands he come too they reckon , the whole tenure of the footy show is just so sickening and crap. I have been, like many others, harsh on cloke and his old man, only because of how its all panned out. But i would love it now if he did re sign with us, just to upset the media, those wankers on the FS, the Scum and kernahan, and of course the ole man,whom the FS reckons is demanding they get cloke as part of the coaching deal. Makes one sick to the guts, all this Caaaarlton bullshit hype. Grrrrrrrrrrr. !

I would rather see an in form Cloke playing in the Black & White. I am not a Cloke hater as you infer.

At the same time everything has a value. Say our top 5 players demanded that the Pies pay equal to the best off they could negotiate from another club. We would loose players left right and centre and moral would be down the toilet.

These guys have given up some of their potential earning so as to stay together and challenge for another cup and greedy Cloke wants to hold the club to ransom and take it all leaving the club with a compromised salary cap. No thanks. This is not all just about Cloke but the clubs future.

I don't mind if he stays, but only if he accepts a reasonable deal, which does not jeopardise our plans for recruitment and player retention. Furthermore, I think he would need to ditch his old man as his manager. The more I think about this whole sad and sorry saga, the more I feel sorry for Travis, as I genuinely think that if it was just up to him he would have agreed to Collingwood's terms to stay playing with his mates. His old man has put his own greed and ego ahead of the interests of his own son. Even Kernahan yesterday said that "Travis should stay with Collingwood".

I reckon we should bury this now until after the finals.
