Ah you sure they were offside anywhere else but in your imagination?
Its hard to say, but he was mobbed by team-mates after every goal last night. Against Sydney, where he kicked some vital goals against the top side, no one went near him.
No-one went near anyone else for demonstrative celebrations either. You sure something else hasn't been sapping team joy besides Cloke?

Hard to tell maybe but that sort of celebration has been down all year. Could just be a jaded attitude. Who knows?

We can all make assumptions about why they didn't run up to him at the Sydney game, and then last night, but I doubt we will ever know the truth, I don't really care to be perfectly honest. Cloke's future isn't in our hands, and we have to accept that.

But we can support him until such time as he no longer wears the jumper, whether it be at seasons end, or the end of his career.

^^I reckon it was more about us being rubbish for two weeks and wanting to come out with a different attitude. But like everyone, I'm just guessing.

Trying to read anything into how we celebrate goals is silly. If what some on here are saying were true, players on our team are having a sook and deliberately sabotaging our onfield performance, just because another player could possibly head to another team next year. I simply can not believe that.

Conspiracy theories will be around for some time I'd imagine after he signs it will be the future of another player, and then another, etc.

Just hard to see anyone wanting to do this because a player could leave, if they are, they shouldn't be there either. Since I cannot see it happening, and I doubt it would ever happen, then we should be fine.

Still enjoyed Trav's effort, Pie player in 2013 or not.

Its hard to see a team of professional footballers doing that I agree. However others here see it as a fertile source of innuendo.

The amount of humble pie you've devoured over the years makes me wonder if you order a crane to leave the house :)

For two months Cloke played without any enthusiasm and wasn't getting much love from the rest of the boys. It's not the five goals he's kicked its the passion and the work rate that was absolutely wonderful to see.
Something has clearly changed, maybe he's signed or maybe he got our blessing to leave and feels like the weight is finally of his shoulders....
nomnomnom

Humble pie is a professional hazard McFeast, are you prepared to eat your share?
HUMBLE Pie were actually a great 60s Supergroup, a close relative to Blind Faith back then . FWIW humble pie aint my forte, on Fathers day today the kids shouted me Mexican Parmengiana with Japeleno chillies, and a lovely bottle of Red. Yeah, being a Dad does have its perks. ! BTW, Trav looks back on deck, and back in business, -now if his ol man could just get lost in the outback on that car rally bash we may be able to sign him pre Finals. :P :!:

Can we read anything into the way the players mobbed him after he kicked his first goal last night?I haven't seen them do that to him all year until now.

50 goals in an average season. He is simply too important to let go. Get the deal done Collingwood and stop being petulant about this 5th year
