Nah, wont work, they already have stringer, boyd and redpath, he is a dinosaur slow forward, he will clog up their game plan, too slow now. My best mate is a dogs man and he aint happy, he doesn't want him at all, and reckons he will drag them down with his misses and letdowns. Hes also spewing over Jong, so he aint a happy laddie over clustercluck goal kicker Clokey baby.

I agree. I didn't mean to infer that MM played him out of position. I'm sure I've said it here before. Simply saying that's what led to his demise. No doubt that MM was not a fan though.

Sav was delisted by MM, not traded, because he believed Ant was the better prospect at FF and we couldn't play both in the same side.

Was picked up cheap by Norf and went on to play some good football, Ant eventually built a half decent tank and played his best footy at CHF which made a mockery of the call to delist Sav.

Cloke is looking at dropping from $800k currently per season to less than $300k per season with the dogs. If we hold him to the last year of his contract we lose $450k in salary and if his form stays the same as this year, we destroy any value we might get as a FA compensation pick at the end of 2017.

Buyers market, we should play hard and look for a player we can use to top off a low pick, but his real value aint much.

We're not talking about justice here. We're talking about what's best for the CFC. The market will determine Cloke's worth. All parties need to move on including Cloke's management and the club. If Cloke wins a premiership playing for the Bulldogs then good luck to him. Our mistake was signing him to a lucrative long term contract, which we now regret. You learn from your mistakes.
