Geelong starts with their first-round pick, and that's not nearly enough.

Lucky for Geelong , Brisbane is in the market for draft picks. They will pay extra for a pick 20.

Brisbane in turn gives us a young gun. And Geelong also give us pick 2.

agreed, we will probably only have a couple of picks in the draft, so don't need another late second rounder or something like that

Ditto. He can go down to Arden St which is 2km closer to Geelong and keep Stephenson company while they raffle which opponents to chase next year. If Geelong wants to come to the party they can give us pick 7 or a future Ist rounder when they crash down to earth next year.
