We laughed at England saying they felt like they won the first test but should the rain ensure this one ends in a draw, England are very very stiff. They’ve played the better cricket.

Hopefully we've refocused overnight. If we can knock them over quickly, we have the batsmen to bat for 2 days and put the game away from England, IF they have the right focus.

Aus 39/1 at tea. Rain is forecast for tomorrow so we need to bat until stumps and lose as few wickets as possible. I would like to see us 3 down or less.

Geez Warner has had bloody rotten luck on this tour. He was batting beautifully until he dragged one onto his stumps. I’m biased but I think he still has some good innings left in him. He’ll be back strong in the next test.
