And Fuzz, Fox Sports have no plans to replay the game any time soon! I tried to record it twice but failed. Yes, I'm going to get the DVD, but I can't wait that long!
I spoke to both Austar and Fox Sports, which is actually the Premier Media Group, and they both say there is no plan to replay the game! Outrageous!! The NRL replay is on every 3 seconds! Call PMG on the Fox News line at (02) 9776 2566. I did and told them I had a breaking news story, about how Magpie fans were going beserk because there was no replay. They were going to march to Sydney en masse and tear the building down. I urge everyone to do something similar (The guy I spoke to, Tim, said there had been similar calls and promised to relay my message to his superiors - of course he won't but if all of you call, who knows?). You're right, I SHOULD start a thread... thanks!
And now to the votes. I'm going with Nathan's idea for 5 votes:
5. Daisy Thomas. 2 unbelievable games, no one else played so well in both matches and Daisy really stamped himself as a truly elite player, with incredible skill, courage, and stamina. Well done mate!
4. Steelo. 19 years old!? You are kidding! Imagine when he's an adult!!!!
3. Pendles. What a game, what a future. Always looks like he has so much time, the mark of a champion.

But this isn't really right. All the guys were amazing, How could we forget Screw? Harry? Dawesy?, Sack?, Beamer?, hopalong Reid? Toooves? Both Brown's?, (particularly Nathan's effort on Reevolting) and of course our inspirational Captain? And that includes Presti, Neon, Medders, Rogan, Woody, Cheesy, Tarks, McCarthy, Dickie, and everyone who kept our guys on their toes lest they lose their spot!
And let's not forget the staff, the trainers, runners, coaches, fitness guys, sport shrinks, The board, the ladies who make the phone calls, everyone. particularly those who volunteer their time. Thank you for your awesome efforts, what a year!
