I'm increasingly hoping for Laverde at 5 ahead of a possible slider in Wright.

Hopefully GWS aren't getting the same idea.

Yes, it's Laverde for mine but wouldn't mind Wright either. We can't go wrong.
So it's,
1. Petracca.
2. Brayshaw.
3. McCartin.
4. Wright.
5. Laverde
... etc

I'll be a bit pissed off if GWS take Laverde.

Christ almighty so now they have GWS taking De Goey at pick 4.

Have I missed something or is there some new draft rule that dictates whoever we fancy will be taken by GWS at pick 4?

Crikey it's like Bontempelli all over again, we show some interest then wham he comes from the skies and lands at the dogs inside the top 5.

Last week we wanted Laverde but look out GWS are gonna take him.

Now we've consigned ourselves to getting De Goey but surprise surprise GWS are going to get in before us.

When did GWS?

I'm merely making the point that most supporters had a preference for Laverde at 5 then once the whispers began that GWS were set to select him a lot of supporters moved on to De Goey and talked themselves into being happy with him.

Now we feel happy that Laverde might be back on the table at our selection but jilted that we wont get the opportunity to take a player we mightn't have wanted in the first place.

GWS are messing with our emotions.

P.S-I get the feeling that the phantom drafters have no idea like the rest of us.

so, people are getting upset about not getting someone they never rated in the first place because someone who has little idea has said they wouldn't. makes sense.

^She only puts her final phantom out a couple of days or the night before the draft though.

By then everything is falling into place and people in the media like her should be getting it near to spot on with all there contacts.

It's purely a guessing game to a large extent right now and it's hilarious because I'm not sure if we're following the medias lead or them ours.

Yeah, and your point is?

Not just upset but downright distressed if other teams pick up a ripper. We want the ripper just to "ourselves" - I want them all. I want other teams to select duds
