I am so impressed with McCreery. I will repeat an earlier post of mine. He should be used as an on baller. He has all the physical and skill attributes.

As for the comment that Howe should have been penalised for a deliberate out of bounds, if one were to closely observe, the ball spilled out as he hit the ground.

He needs to be cleaner with his hands. Has a case of butter fingers regardless of the conditons. To be a mid, he'll need to clean up that part of his game as mids have to make the most of half chances.

Phew.
Exactly; whilst we did convert chances against Freo two rounds ago, to give us a decent buffer, the last two weeks have been diabolical.
We have been out-scoring opposition in first halves, but missing way too many gettable shots on goal in the process; this results in reduced scoreboard pressure, allowing said opposition to believe they are still in the game.

I wouldn't suggest trying our luck with such poor conversion monday week against Melbourne; such inept kicking at goal cost us twice against them back in 2010.

Anyhoo, the effort was there for most of the game today, save for a large part of the third term.
We are W7/L5, briefly back in the top eight and exceeding expectations; see how long until the bubble bursts.

There was no need to include MCInness at Brown's expense; idiotic selection decision, and now he has paid the price for selection stupidity.

Throw Carmichael straight into the deep end next week; don't fart arse around like they've done with Johnson, at the corresponding time last year.

Just like Weightman at the scrags, Ginni is now seen as a stager by the umpires. He won't be getting easy free kicks any more.

Dwayne Russell - you owe me a fat gorilla champ. You tried so hard with your barracking but fell just a little short.

P.S. you should think about becoming a commentator

How cool is on a Sunday night just enjoying a win. I agree we need a Key Forward, and a Key back and two mid-fielders but there is a lot to like about the coaching staff and football department right now. Notwithstanding the deficiencies, we are playing some good football. Ollie Henry can be anything and how much do you want the ball in the hands of a Daicos

Yep, and probably rightly so. He does drop his knees and that should just be play on.

He staged for the free that netted his first goal.

As was last week; but ideally I'd prefer us to convert shots on goal earlier in match, so we have some scoreboard buffer, and not surrender the lead after dominating the majority of the game....

We won’t get second chances against the Dees who are on the rebound
