The club needs to bail Scott Pendlebury up and ask him where exactly the fountain of youth is located.

After watching the Brisbane - Carlton game, I think an important factor will be negating Charlie Cameron. Cameron has excellent skills and a genuine desire to score goals at any opportunity. Cameron has cut us up in the past and if there is one argument not to play the unfortunate John Noble, it is his poor performance on goal kicking small forwards. Small forwards have hurt us in a few games and often its due to neither Noble nor Maynard being capable of shutting them down(Cameron has kicked 17.1 in his last four games against us). I think Oleg and sometimes Quaynor have done a much better job of negating small forward's influence this season. Brisbane looked vulnerable when Cameron was off his game in the first quarter against Carlton and they really got going when he lifted later in the game. I would have Oleg watching him closely because, if you negate Cameron, you negate at least 50% of their main scoring power. He is also a barometer for them too. When he is up and about, Brisbane lifts considerably. Shut him down successfully and we are well on the way to holding up the silverware.

We've all heard that a million monkeys banging on a million typewriters will eventually reproduce the entire works of Shakespeare. Now, thanks to the Internet, we know this is not true.
Few things:
Adam’s shouldn’t play unless 101%. If he limps off half way through the first we’re getting number 28 not 16. Hopefully he can find it in himself to emulate Presti.
Heat won’t matter.
MCG is a big advantage BUT there will be no Magpie army. It will almost be the other way. That’s the issue 70k are corporate and given we’re the most hated club will be behind Brisbane.
FWIW I think should we win Cox will be best on kicking 5+.

The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.

On the recent forms, GWS Dwarfs are the second-best team. And we won.
McStay was out of the team in the early part of the season. The team knows what to do without him. His absence in the GF could be an advantage to us because the Bears know him well.
Pies to win by 28 points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Wow, amazing co-incidence, with numbers matching again!!Culprit wrote:Alan Richardson #13 was 50/50 before the 1990 Grand Final. Matthews put him through a very physical test and he was ruled out. Will History repeat itself again?
Just read the story here:
https://www.saints.com.au/news/421298/t ... ethal-test
I think that history won't repeat because 13 is unlucky once, but not twice.
Fly will put him through the same prematch test, but Adams will be watching for sudden changes in angle and will jump the necessary hurdle!
Free Julian Assange!!
