Already overdone.

Must we use American B grade comedy actors and/or their characters to burden our players ?
We all grew up with it like it or not, we've changed his nickname to Sarge and he's described as a Sherman tank so that war looks lost already.

Welcome Lachie Schultz to our merry band of small forwards. Looking forward to seeing you causing havoc and kicking goals. You might get midfield minutes as well by the look of you.

Agreed he's not shy of close in contact, has a touch of speed without being a racehorse and his tackling technique is very good.

Kicked a couple of goals in the semi against us in 2022. One of them came after he nailed Noble in a tackle.

He's not a tackling machine like McCreery but when it's his turn to go he'll be all in and the target isn't going to be able to dispose of it effectively.

What he does do, is work very hard up and down the ground. This guy isn’t your average stay at home forward pocket. He gets up to the wings when required and will seriously enjoy the quality inside 50 delivery compared to the haphazard slow moving Dockers entries.

They are very similar (2023 stats) except for goals, Sarge averaging slightly more tackles and a lot more contested possessions than Beau, more marks and stays out on the ground a lot longer suggesting a better tank.

I really like this get
He’s a strong body player who lays loads of tackles and applies massive pressure and works very hard up the ground and back as required
We lost Adams who pinch hit in the middle
Now McCreery can do that role and maybe Schultz as well
He’s a proven goal kicker been 30+ a year past couple years so increases our goal scoring potential as well
Elliott is a old body 31 he mightn’t have loads of time left but managed well we could maximise his smarts
Hill and Ginnivan are light bodies so another big frame in the forward line won’t hurt
A future 1st is a unknown commodity we know what we are getting with Schultz

He looks like a good get.Anyone who increases our scoring power is certainly welcome. We nearly kicked ourselves out of the grand final, kicking 12 goals 18,so if we can get someone who can kick a couple of goals a week that would be a huge help to us.
