Aish is not a big body yet (like for like), therefore we should ask for pick 5, Aish & a swap of 2nd round picks.thebaldfacts wrote:Pick 5 plus Aish to be announced tomorrow according to a Fine on SEN.

Picks 5 and 25 for Beams is completely laughable. I would absolutely expect the Pies to reject this derisory offer. Rest assured, if Beams remains with us he will play his very best in 2015. He will do so because he has too much to lose otherwise. He is a professional sportsman paid very significant amounts of money to play at an elite standard, and to fail to fulfil his professional commitments would erode his market value. Even more importantly, I believe that, whatever we might think of Beams' recent conduct, his commitment to excellence on the field cannot be disputed. He will play at his highest standard, wherever it is that he wishes to play. There is no chance that he will sit out the year. That would be a breach of his contract with Collingwood, and would penalize him financially on a massive scale.
Moreover, we would still have a year in order to convince Beams to stay with us, by packaging an attractive financial deal and perhaps improving relations overall with him. I still have definitely not lost hope that Beams might remain a Pie. There is no doubt in my mind that we need to be absolutely relentless in regard to Brisbane and demand like for like, as well as a top pick, or no deal.

Aish was a massive Buckley fan as a kid.
He's friends with Scharenberg and I'm sure he played some junior state level football with Grundy, Broomhead and Kennedy.
He's always been the one we could most likely convince to tell Brisbane he wants out and be traded as part of the Beams deal.

He can sweeten the deal by drinking some pineapple juice.
