Went out with my cousin the other night.
He is a mad Collingwood fan just like me.
He told me he recorded the game at the start and he went out gardening.
The stress of losing all those grannies was too much for him.
At the end of the game he went inside and sheepishly looked at his phone to see how much we had lost by.
But fmd we won!!!!!
He then watched the game over and over

Sounds like my Dad. He left the house in 2010... a draw. And then again a week later. He returned with about 90 seconds to go.

This year I was at the game with Mum and brother. Dad said he watched the horse racing and checked the scores later the day.

Watching the Australian MotoGP at Philip Island this today. Am I seeing things. I swear Jamie Elliot #5 waved the checquered flag as Zarco #5, Bagnaia #63 and Digannantonio #49 led a Ducati 1,2,3 across the line in a thrilling race.

Jamie Elliot what a way to celebrate the Pies Premiership in 2023!
Ed Allen kicked our last goal of the year at the 58minute mark

SO, chaps, how many times have YOU watched the GF replay now ? I am up to number 3. Will watch all our Finals again, over the cricket season.

Well what a fabulous three weeks it has been so far.
I have totally immersed myself in all things Premiership 2023.
I have watched the replay a few times, listened to all 4 radio calls, listened to a few podcasts ( Coxy and Pendles), watched all of the TV shows related to the GF, went to the Copeland and will continue to watch snippets during this summer.
As most Collingwood supporters know premierships don’t come around too often so when they do, make the most of it!!

The story that i love the most is Howie becoming a premiership player after that sickening compound fracture in Rd 1 which i thought that he would never return from. Hearing what he went through this year was both emotional and unbelievable. Congrats Jeremy Howe….LEGEND!!!

Go Pies!!!

Having watched all the finals again (and again, and again), I think the big Americans’s influence was underrated. He was outstanding. Clearly a dominant ruck, and does little smart ‘move it on things’ around the ground which suits our game style all the time.

Good call on Cox Nearly. I reckon 2023 saw the big fella emerge as one of the top 2 or 3 ruckmen in the whole comp. He was terrific in the finals, especially the Grannie.

Well. The perks of a flag...

Jamie Elliot was the checkered flag waiver at the Phillip island motogp yesterday.

At 4:15 https://youtu.be/TabHWOIXU2M?si=-T0m3_nD4ORWzRRo

Sprint cancelled today due to crap weather. Holy crap, rode back to Bendigo blasted with rain and wind.

But worth it for a cracking race on Saturday. Those guys are aliens to ride like they do.

Love it, all. I had a re-binge of clips yesterday simply because I could :D 8)

Great to see Jamie get some recognition beyond footy. The lad is such a quiet achiever.
In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

The thing that I'm trying to hang on to so tightly is the memories of the day at the ground. I but I fear every celebratory beer I have is stealing these away.
