A few relevant points in the article, but delivered with a typical undercurrent of disdain.
Time to get the presciption updated on those glasses matey. She couldn't keep a dildo hard.joffa corfe wrote:Carro as beautiful as she is nothing but a frustrated Bitchmond supporter

Gee Caro, I must have missed your article on Port Adelaide treating the AFL competition with contempt by not taking last years grand final seriously. Well not as seriously as Collingwood took the Prelim!
P'raps while you're covering the games this season you might pay attention and notice things don't always go according to plan?? That's why 15 clubs miss out on a flag each year.
'Tis a shame about Tarkyn not being in Albany for the PR exercise, did someone mention something to you? Don't know if anyone made a request to Collingwood, but everyone focussed on CFC's 2008 campaign sees the pre-season for what it is, preparation for another assault on a flag, surprisingly when you make a good attempt at that, the PR stuff sorts itself out.
But yeah, if you prefer the way Richmond go about, keep writing your socks off.

A Quite week at the Age heh Caroline!!! What a totally inane article!! As far as i am aware there is no obligation to Collingwood to perform to a prescribed level in the NAB cup or pre season hit outs or display matches at Albany. What credibility does this woman possess??? How dare she judge us on effort when her club of choice is a unmittigated rabble!!!! Oh and to say that Tarkyn Lockyer should have played in WA because he hails from that state OH give me a break! NEVER trust the daughter of a Richmond president especially one as dodgy as Wilson.
Cheers

Every single pre-season this twit conjures up some un-newsworthy rubbish about our great club to feather her own nest. No matter what we do or achieve or in what direction we're going she will always manage to spit out ever-more spiteful and juvenile criticisms of our great club.
I can hear the whole of the UAE still complaining about our rusty performance. And I can see us all now patting Mick on the back for taking Tarks to Albany to re-do his knee instead of little Dicky.
A mentally disabled striped gibbon could type up a negative footy story about any club at any time if it wanted to. The problem is this filth merchant happens to disproportionately type them up about our club.

Way too polite J26. Since when has giving an opinion become an act warranting praise? That was the trashiest insubstantial artificially-concocted rubbish published since her last attack on us.Johnson#26 wrote:Good on her. In some ways. An opinion's an opinion, although as a Richmond supporter it is understandable. It'll be (hopefully) her only chance to kick us while we're (not down) just drifting...

I don't have a problem with most of what she wrote, everyone is entitled to an opinion not matter how worthless it is.
The only thing I have a problem with is this bit:
Carlton, Collingwood, Essendon, *Hawthorn, *Kangeroos and *Melbourne all play four interstate games in 2008. Geelong, Richmond and the *Bulldogs play five, while Saint Kilda play the most with six.
(The * marked teams play more interstate games than i've noted above but those other interstate games are nominated interstate home games, and as such should not be counted.)
So as you can see Collingwood isn't the only Victorian team to travel interstate four times and as previously stated Saint Kilda, with the highest interstate travel, only travels two more times than us.
But wait there's more, of the extra games that both Saint Kilda and the Bulldogs are playing interstate one each of those are "home" games for the Kangaroo's and Hawthorn respectively.
Some in summation ALL the Victorian teams only play the odd game interstate against other interstate teams, not just Collingwood. I'm just bloody sick and tired of every dickhead journalist rehashing that old line everytime they want to have a crack at the Pies season fixtures.
The only thing I have a problem with is this bit:
Just for the recordThank heavens the team that played 10 consecutive games in Victoria leading up to last year's finals series must only leave the state four times over 22 home-and-away rounds in 2008.
