Do any of you take your own tucker to the footy. ? My sis in law, Doggies member, takes pies rapt in foil , still warm, , and six hot dogs in a thermos of hot water, plus buns and sauce, plus a pre cut Boston bun , yeh, shes pretty well prepared, saves fair bit of coin too.

When you think about it, games aren't played at meal times (except maybe night games) so just eat before the game.

I'm kicking back in front of the heater, chicken wings and lamb cutlets for dinner, few beers and a few glasses of red and 2m to walk to have a smoke.

Gen admission member seating

Post by KenHock »

Hi All, a frustrated country member who only gets to go to a couple of games a year we pay for 10 games so we can watch our Pies play but whenever we get the chance to go we can never use our general admission as we always have to upgrade because apparently it is sold out! The funny thing is when we go to the game there is always plenty of empty seats. Even the Tigers game next week there is no good seats left so we have to pay extra even to sit high up the back on level 4. Last week we paid extra to sit in the 2nd last row on level 4.
No more for us we won't bother next year!
Cheers big ears!

It's not sold out unless it's fully ticketed.

In most cases, the Ticketek allocation is exhausted but seats remain for GA.

But the issue is, if you have a GA season ticket, you can't just rock up and scan your ticket and get in.

And then you see all these empty seats....

Really hope this gets looked at next year. Its a rort ...

So if I turn up on Sunday I can just use my members general admission and get a seat?

Out of curiosity ...
I checked ticketek just before the game, looking for a general admission ticket - nothing available ???
So this 100,000 seat stadium was sold out ???
Or do they just allow the 72,000 that was there a seat to put their feet up on
I don't have a snappy catch phrase

Free ticket to Saturday Nights game

Post by stui magpie »

I have a reserved seat but rarely go to games.

This arvo I got a text to ask if I wanted to transfer my seat to a friend or family member to help fill up the G.

I checked on the Collingwood App, it's legit. I can transfer my seat for the night to someone, I just need their first and last names and email address. I assume then they get an email with the ticket.

The seat us in the Ponsford, level 1, Bay 31 row FF.

First person who sends me their details can have it, for free. I'm not going so if someone else wants to, great.
