the funniest bit was the saltiness from Hodge Lewis and the press conference of Mitchell was cringeworthy

Interesting flashback for some perspective, especially in seeing how the same people react to the Hinkley incident in the coming days ~

Ranting as if all our players are squeaky clean is so cringeworthy, almost embarrassing, but there you go.

The youth & inexperience of Hawthorn was exposed last night, to lay the blame at Ginnivans feet alone is the pinnacle of ignorance.
Absolutely blame Dikivan. Disrespected Port, Players and Fans. If he was at Collingwood and he said that and we lost, would you ignore?

Dawks lost purely an mainly, cos of childish brat Ginni, Hinkly said he use the insult text a "fair bit " pre match, you could tell from first minutes,Port were in a savage mood, over it. He will never learn, hes a walking time bomb, whinger Mitchell cut him some slack this time, what bout next time he brings a clustercluck on the piss an poo ? Good riddance to him.

the free kick hawthorn fest in the 2nd quarter was the only reason hawks were within cooee of Port at the end. And why is no one in the media mentioning hawks throwing their heads to the ground to get a dangerous free?

I was at an under 19 grand final this morning, pouring rain, the under dogs almost had it won, the sun came out and the top team just went bang, and right before the final siren a couple of their players ran in front of the runner ups bench, i was standing about 10 metres from it, and started doing Ginnies sleep thing, like the grub did to our cheer squad (i sit in the next bay). And this was in Braybook, just asking for trouble, and sure enough the hoons started mouthing off.

read the room Jack!

and He is going to hear the 14 day thing all summer! just deserts!!

Port may have taken Heath's advice.

I'm sick of this umpiring. The 50 metres is a joke. First a Lion walks into the protected area and umpire calls play on. Daniher tackles and free and goal. Seconds later a 50 out of nowhere to Lions. It's clear who the AFL wants in the Prelim. Seriously the standard of umpiring this year is the worst ever.

I think the AFL has introduced a new rule for the Finals to ensure that home ground advantage isn’t too great - the away side gets to bring the umpires.

Agree with others that the umpiring has been insipid. Lions got a helping hand when they needed it.

Coniglio has been subbed out. Cheekbone injury and potential concussion.
