Considering the difficult circumstances, I think the club has handled the fallout well. Really liked how Darcy addressed the media today.
Ginnivan is still young, so he has time to rectify his error and become a better person for it but this needs to be a big wake up call for him.

Best line from Darcy was that there’s 80 athletes here and all take their careers seriously but they don’t live in a vacuum either
Nailed it on the head mate
I think Gil ceo afl and channel 7 who paid the troll should step down as well
It’s a mess channel 7 and the afl are a mess as well
Collingwood are the only ones handling the situation with professionalism

Just because I post after you doesn’t mean I am specifically referring to you. If I wanted to do that I would do you the courtesy of quoting youMr Miyagi wrote: For the millionth time, I’m not saying that ffs. But I have more empathy for Ginnivan than I do the dunny perv.
Having clarified that, you do seem to be leaning in that direction
Eileen where I want to.

Just watched Darcy's masterful interview with the media vultures. Just loved the way he said that the "general public can make up their own mind " about the low life who invaded Ginni's privacy and filmed him in a public toilet. I also loved the way he brought into such proportion the actual gravity of the situation. He said, yes Jack has made an error, it is disappointing, but he would learn from it and move on. He also made a brilliant statement about how AFL players do not live in a vacuum, and will inevitably make mistakes, and it would be totally absurd to imagine that illicit drug taking is not occurring across the entire AFL. He then added that he could not estimate the prevalence, due to lack of data.
Superb performance by our new captain.
He will be magnificent as our skipper.

Ok I probably guess it’s only me but I don’t automatically believe a random caller to a talk back radio station. I’m extremely skeptical that everyone tells the truth but feel that they only want their minute or two of fame, especially as (conveniently) no names are mentioned. As a rule I don’t get sucked in immediately, especially regarding a Neil Mitchell special sensational treatment for any bloody issue going on that he demands to be a part ofburnsy17 wrote:Just as an aside, I wonder who the player is that made an arse of himself!
Gotta love these random mums calling radio stations!
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm
