I’m really warming more and more to Oleg with every game he plays. He leaves nothing behind at every contest, lends a lot of support in the backline and his ball use and decision making is getting better by the week. He seems to be a great club man and the way he plays suits our frantic play on at all costs style. It’s getting to the point where if he does find himself out of the team, then whoever was selected in front of him, must be playing some very good footy.

Oleg is a gem for us - heart and soul player who is all about how he can help the team and his team mates.

His pace and will to run and go are impressive!
His attitude and appreciation to be playing again can’t be understated enough. This guy will give his all for us. He may go in and out of the team during the second half of the season, but you know what you’ll get.
Heart is the best type attribute in footy I reckon. He’s got a sht load!

He just bounces and slides and is relentless in not losing the footy from a contest. He knows he’s there to scrap, find the pill, and give it to a Daicos, or Pendlebury, JDG. Whatever happens, if he’s insurance for a worst case scenario, it’s a nice “break glass in case of emergency” option to have.

He belongs at this level.

You can see him growing in confidence with each passing game. Love the way his natural instinct is to take the game on and move the ball fast.

My Richmond mate, right from the beginning was troubled that his club had cut him loose as being a "hot head". Bad decision Tigers and Suns.

The longer he's in the team, the better he gets. I have a lot of confidence in him when he has the ball in hand. Terrific long kick and excellent disposer of the ball.

Hot head? I’ll admit I didn’t take any notice of him when he was with the other clubs but he strikes me now as very mature, professional and level headed. Has he changed?
