Aussies v. Windies. Tests.
Alex Malcolm:
'Shamar Joseph had a false start with his first ball, aborting his run up from the Cathedral End. But he soon gathered his thoughts, ran in and delivered a 137kph good-length ball on a fifth-stump line. Smith shuffled back across but was squared up as it nipped away, and the edge flew low to fellow debutant Justin Greaves, who took an excellent catch at third slip.
"I didn't miss my run-up; I was just nervous," Shamar Joseph said of his initial run-up. "So I just went and built in my mind to get the first ball right - just on top of off stump. I [had] watched back a few Test matches of Steve Smith, and I think that is an area of weakness for him. So I just say that I will just hit the top of off because he's a batter that triggers across a lot; he tries to take you off of your line. So I just stuck to the basic, hit just on top of off, getting a little movement away, and got the edge."'

Sadly, looks like age has caught up with Kemar Roach.
Media say his speeds were in the 120s in the 1st Test.
Sheesh... That's like opening the bowling with Steve Waugh. (Mark did once open the bowling for Oz...)
But Oz's pretend openers still failed...
"We found out that bowling at 125km/h against Test batsmen isn’t going to work, which is a pity because Kemar Roach has been a magnificent servant for his team."

"Allrounder Cameron Green and coach Andrew McDonald are the latest members of Australia's squad to test positive to COVID-19.
Batter Travis Head contracted the virus after the first Test against West Indies in Adelaide but tested negative on Tuesday after flying to Brisbane on his own ahead of the second match of the series at the Gabba.
Head joined the squad for training on Wednesday afternoon and is free to take part in the Test that starts on Thursday without any restrictions.
Green and McDonald will be separated from the group until they return a negative test.
In line with Cricket Australia protocols, Green will be able to play his part in the Test even if he does not return a negative result in the next 24 hours, while the Gabba has a spare changeroom that was used at the height of COVID-19."
