Geelong have pick 7. Trade it out for other first rounders 8-24 and make a better package with 25. But they won’t because they know they can get him in the PSD. North are interested though, so could get interesting when the PSD comes around

Send the self entitled little turd to Norf, like Stevo. Hope he enjoys playing in front of their "packed" Marvel stadium, in front of 10 000 North fans. Off you go, Ollie, to NORDA MELBIN, to quote the great man, Franco Cozzo. !

Let’s not forget it’s Geelong in his ear advising him/his manager. Ollie’s just a kid wanting his dream, and his manager/Geelong are the ones lowballing us.

i know we would have ranked this year's draftees already, so we would have some sort of idea of pick 25 and pick 33 would get you.
So, unless we like what we would get, then no point doing this deal.
If we could get two players we actually want, then do it

Send him to the Cats for 2 picks.
Henry will nominate his terms of contract and go into the draft (like Luke Ball), let's say 4 years @350k.
Cats will pick local kid at 7.
Pies with their first pick at 16......Oliver Henry!
Welcome back to the Pies Oli for 4 years!
Renegotiate trade with Cats next year with a contracted player. Take that Pussies!
*won't happen but would be good viewing just to see the meltdowns

Tom Browne reported Ollie had a conversation with McRae and told him he won’t be back. Geelong trade or draft. Bridges burned. He could be bluffing so Collingwood decide 25 is better than nothing, but Wright was very straight batting today that they won’t accept it. But if it is a bluff, then doing it in a personal one on one with the coach is a disrespectful way to do it.
If it is a bluff, then lying to the coach face to face is absolutely disrespectful, but if he is genuine, whether I like it or not, then credit where it's due for being up front and honest.

IF Geebung think this spoiled brat will somehow replace Hawkins, who will no doubt retire at end of next season, they have rocks in their head, cos Ollie aint no Premiership champ like Hawk. As it is, Duckwood is gone, and next season, at end, Hawk, issac smith, Guthrie, Dunstan, Dangermouse, etc will all retire, and that is when the arse will fall out of the ageing Handbaggers. and they will crash down the ladder, you dont replace guys like Hawk and Sellwood, takes yrs an yrs. Ollie is going to an ageing team, whose window will slam shut, while ours is just opening. ( they only won that QF cos of the yellow maggots, gave them the earth against us, too.) Henry going there at worst possible time, to an ageing decaying team.

...see Mr M's comment. You are assuming that it is genuinely his comment, and not his advisors at Geelong either tellng him to say that, or influencing him greatly in order to do so.
We will see what happens
But Collingwood should stand firm.

Bluff or no bluff there is no way that we should accept anything less than what we want.
If we lose him for nothing so be it, but it’s the long game that we need to play. We will not be dictated to by some second year player.

Fair point, and we don’t know how the rest of the convo went. We do know the club is filthy with Geelong, and that’s where I’m aiming my dark side of the force.
