Ideally the trade should go as follows.

Lumumba to Melbourne.

Clark to Geelong.

Varcoe to North Melbourne.

Greenwood to Collingwood.

Everyone gets a player they want and get to keep some handy draft picks.

Much better for us. Do the Kanga's want Varcoe?

I'd like that but North won't. They'd want a pick from somewhere as well I'd suspect. Geelong 3rd rounder maybe.

The only way i will take Varcoe is if he can bring his own Tardis (time machine) and whisk us back to the start of the 2011 GF and have him be in a Pies jumper..

According to reports the other day they were keen on him like West Coast and us.

I dont want Varcoe at the Pies, he doesn't offer us anything.

Hasn't been much at the Cats in recent years either.

Probably happy to have played in 09/11, and cruising to retirement.

- On Heritier Lumumba and Mitch Clark: Potentially a three-way deal with Collingwood and Geelong's Travis Varcoe. Still working on the Pies and Cats.

Wow demons give up jack shite for Garlett while we look to use Lumumba for Varcoe.

If we're going after soft cocks I'd have preferred Garlett roaming our forward line.

Sure Garlett has his issues but that was a bloody steal in anyone's language. I hope he flies next year just to piss of our friends at the scum!

Wouldn't take a genius to figure out where Norf would rate Varcoe as opposed to Greenwood. That deal is good for everyone but the Kangas.

^Maybe but if they rate him higher than pick 25 then it's a win for them.

Remember they are stocking up for a crack next year.

Greenwood has had one good year and played less than 10 games in both 2013 and 12.

North can't rate him that highly, they only offered him a one year contract initially. Probably the reason he's walking.
