Players can be interviewed all the time. We'll be lucky to see that milestone reached again in our lives.

And the ironic thing is she's asking about feeling disrespected because they are not the fave with the bookies.
We'll see the record broken next week and probably 20+ times next year.

A great accomplishment. Had to laugh at some of the comments on social media about this.

"What about our captain". "How can our player not be in this". They dont understand how the votes are taken, but are quick to say it was the wrong call.

If you want to talk about a wrong call, just look at the only awards voted by the general public...

Well it's Brownlow Night

If Pendles receives 8 votes, he will pass Leigh Matthews as the player with the highest amount of votes without winning the medal. (Joel Selwood is also in this conversation).

If Pendles receives 16 votes, he will enter the top 5 for total votes. (Depending on Joel Selwoods and Dangerfields votes too).

No mention of it in the broadcast.

Bruce McAvaney wouldn't have let that information slip.

Ah, well. It's a team game. But he does have one more Norm Smith Medal than Lethal.

Officially the best player to never win a Brownlow.

At least he holds the Pies games record.

Outside of the Pies, heaps of great players have never won it.

Some because they got rubbed out too often, and some because team-mates pinched votes off them.

I always thought Pendles would win one, but it wont happen now sadly.
