Deano's version of what Viv said:

'The most dangerous Test pitch I played on was the 1988 Boxing Day match. I knew it wasn’t that good when I saw tiger stripes from stump to stump, indicating it was not level. At the toss, Viv Richards said to Allan Border, “Don’t you like your boys? You will get them killed on this!”

On the last day of the Test we had six players hit and it was the only time I stayed away from the line of the ball. It was scary and the mood of Patrick Patterson didn’t help as he bowled rockets. I couldn’t help but think when I was batting how the hell did Kim Hughes make 100 not out on something similar seven years earlier.'

His batting average for the 3 Tests, so far, is 183.66

Brings his overall Test batting average to 48.33 and aggregate to 7009.
Donny.

It's a game. Enjoy it. :D

Lucky for him playing Pakistan, nothing like a good percentage booster. Let's revisit his average after the series against NZ, leaving Pakistan out of it.

I always said let's see when he faces decent opposition.... fail. fail.

Add selfishness to his traits.
https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/cricket/b ... rough-pain

Refusing a scan in case he was ruled out, just take up a spot someone else could have had, who could have made a decent score, to play injured. Selfish but he thinks it's funny.

Are we seeing his efforts against 'decent opposition' yet??

Patiently waiting for him to at least get a half century...

Burns has at least made a half century against the kiwis.

AFL players have ruled themselves out of finals so they don't let the side down trying to play when injured....
