24+25 = 7 in terms of points.
That's probably the best we can get.

I think we’re probably take 24 and 25. But it makes sense for Geelong to offer 25 and 33 with the latter out for michell and we take 25 and 27 to the draft.

I'd take 24 and 25 for Henry. Bit better than what we paid for Aish who was a former top 10 selection. Good players can still be found around the 30 mark while we could also use them to improve our draft position this season or swap for a future 2nd.
Wright however can go back to the position he was originally employed to do and give up the added responsibility of list manager if he's caved for pick 25 alone.

Who knows yet if true but could mean we end up with 24 and 25 for Henry.
Conversely they might trade Esava for 33 and they look to dud us again by keeping 24 and supplying us with 25 and 33.
Hawks want one of the 20s picks for the slow plodder Mitchell.

For sure - this works for me. Use them to move higher in the draft this year or roll into next year.
That would give us: 16, 24, 25, 27, 41, 50, 51, 92
We probably only use two of them if I am correct (some posters saying...) that Noble gets upgraded and thats one of our mandatory three picks?? (Is that right?)
Probably something goes out for Mitchell. There's still quite a few picks there.
Would love to know if they have their eye on a couple in the draft and where they think they will go on the night.

They'll get the pick 27 that we already hold or we'll get Mitchell and 25 and retain 27.

If Cooper Stephens is worth pick 24, then Henry is easily worth pick 7.

I bet we fold with Henry like we always do.Do we really want a player who desperately wants to be somewhere else anyway?

In a free market and a market based on fairness and merit then yes. However, as we know AFL trades when we don’t hold any trump (oh how nauseating it is just typing that word since 2016) cards and “we” want a return then it ain’t gunna work that way (not in the real AFL world in any case).

We have no real choice unless we don’t want anything. I hope like hell we’ll get what we want but he’s out of contract and can walk.

If Henry goes into the draft, a club picking at around 22 would be happy to pick him, if they aren't thrilled at the other option.
They get a year and a few good games out of him, and if Henry still wants Geelong, next year they can ask for a first rounder, or at worst get their pick back.
They lost nothing.

Based on scientific speculation (a guess) I’m tipping at least a 3 way deal between Geelong, Hawthorn and Collingwood with pick swaps and trade swaps of: Stephens to Hawthorn from Geelong, Henry to Geelong from Collingwood and Mitchell to Collingwood from Hawthorn. It may include Port & Geelong and the lump of a lad of Fijian heritage.

Anything less than 25 and 33 we send him to the draft.
If that draft is of the PSD variety we redraft him for the cost of salary only and we look to get our 1st in 12 months time.
I'd love to see us make that kind of stand.
