Will be a better player the day he and greenwood play in the same team.
Its bloody hard work winning hard balls in the guts all day. Hardly an exercise that allows ( critical ) error free disposal every time.

6 critical errors last Sunday- That is the problem with Adams - he is a butcher!
Attack on ball - great.
Gets the ball - often.
Committed - absolutely.
But he is a friggin butcher and he has little leg speed.
Will his good points overwhelm his shortcomings.
I don't know.

I tell you what Hal - you would have leg speed if a butcher was after a robot

I think he has been a lot better user of the Ball this Year.

He is a Inside Midfielder and he plays better there

One of our best performers on the weekend against Richmond. Really impressed with how he's come along.

Congratulations to Taylor for reaching 50 AFL games.

Sure his disposal has been frequently poor but I'm sure it's something that's constantly being addressed by him and the coaching staff and I love his application and hardness at the ball which has been pivotal for the side in recent times especially with Luke Ball retiring at the end of last year.

I cant emphasize enough how unimportant it is to focus too heavily on Taylor Adams' disposal.

His value is in and under. He is NOT a link player!!!!!!! If he is providing the role of a link player, then he is doing more than he is supposed to have to do. Where are the link players running past to get the ball?

In a good team, Adams would get 7 kicks and 26 handballs - including 10 clearances and 25 contested possessions (like Mitchell from Hawthorn).

And anyway, the dude kicked a great goal recently when he was in position to kick a goal and I haven't noticed too many terrible kicks. Whenever he has had a clanger, he will almost always be in a role he shouldn't be in because Collingwood's link players weren't running hard enough.

Well done on 50 games Taylor, you little ripper!

Initially I must say I was sceptical at Taylors arrival. However, in more recent times I am LOVING what he brings to the table & enjoying his commitment to the contest, take no crap attitude & ongoing development. For some reason I just assumed he'd be closer to 100 games already - Only 50??.... It just gets better & better!!! Knock'em dead tough guy!
